About
I am a cell and molecular biologist, microscopist, and illustrator interested in bridging art and science to further our understanding of the natural world. During my PhD in Nicole King's lab at the University of California Berkeley/HHMI, I have been characterizing the first identified microbiome of a choanoflagellate, the closest living relatives of animals. As I wrap up, I'm looking to pursue a career at the intersection of microscopy and science animation.
